Have you ever brushed your hair and noticed excessive amounts of hair shedding in the brush? You looked in the sink, and there appeared to be more strands of hair than usual. OMG! You wonder what's going on and start to panic. Well, calm down and survey the situation. There are a variety of reasons for hair loss. For instance, not eating a nutritious meal can affect your hair because it can make you lack adequate vitamins and nutrients for healthy hair; for example, protein. 


First, let's look at some other potential causes of hair loss. Has your hair been in an Up-do or braid style, where you didn't have to comb it for days at a time? Maybe it's just an accumulation of the hair you shed every day. After all, The average woman sheds between 50 and 100 strands per day. On the other hand, if it's more than normal, it can be caused by any one of several circumstances.

 As long as you are getting the proper nutrition and have no health or hereditary issues, the amount of shredded hair should be normal. Hair growth can also be affected by proper intake of protein, biotin, and Vitamin A. If you don't have the proper protein and vitamins, your hair will begin to shed unless you restore what's missing.

The best remedy is to eat healthily and Ask your doctor if you need a vitamin supplement.
